Davis' 1st Haircut

We had our Friday Family Breakfast this morning at IHOP. I continue to love this tradition of getting up and taking the family to breakfast. Annie just slept through all the goodness. Davis enjoyed some pancakes and lots the sausage links out of Katie's pigs in a blanket.
After breakfast we took Davis to get his first haircut. We have trimmed him up a little bit here at the house but decided it was time for his first big boy haircut. We debated about where to take him and ended up at the barber shop where I get my hair cut.
Paul had the honor of doing Davis' first trim.




Davis was not very fond of the cape around the neck so we ended up just letting the hair fall all over him. He did enjoy the brush at the end with the baby powder. We were saying it is crazy that now he will get his haircut for the rest of his life. He's growing up so fast.
