T-Minus 24 Hours

Well folks here we sit.
This time tomorrow Davis will be here.
No more games.
No more thinking.
here he comes!
After going to the doc and finding out he's weighing in at a solid 9.4 pounds we've decided to let the little (big) man take his first breath.

This time tomorrow- just call me Dad.

It seems silly to say thank you to God for such an easy and safe pregnancy. As often our words do fall so short of giving thanks for all of the many blessings.
So now we selfishly pray for a safe delivery.

It seems like yesterday i started this blog and now it's about to come to life.

Thank you God for gifts of life.

sacrifices

well we are making our first real sacrifice for Davis this week. All of YL is in Orlando at a 4 day conference at Disney World and we can not go because of Katie being pregnant. She can't fly and there is NO WAY I'm driving her down there and her go into labor in Nowhere,GA or Mosquito, FL. So we are missing a free trip to Florida. But when you put it into perspective is it really that bad? (I guess a lot of things could really fit under that category- in perspective, God's perspective, are things really that bad) Is missing a trip to Florida, really that bad to recieve a gift from God?
Probably not.
Today I'm thankful that Davis is already helping me remember to see things as God sees things. Thanks Davis.

This is something I brought home to Katie today.

weekly visits

Katie started her weekly doctor visits until Davis comes. This week everything looked good and doc said Davis was definitely "sitting low", which is good and he said can make for a quicker delivery.
This week we are going to the hospital to register, so when we go to the hospital for delivery everything is already on file about doctors, insurance, etc...
On a down note, we bought the car seat and stroller this week and put it together, only to find that the strap which raises and lowers the seat is snagging- so we have to exchange the stroller and put together a new one.
