Katie had planned a great surprise party for me with a bunch of friends up in a cabin in the mountains. Unfortunately because of the snow we had to call off the party! Katie was very upset but it was definitely the right decision. She had put so much work into this and I hated to hear that it wasn't going to happen, but it was definitely right.
I am so thankful for Katie and all of the hard work and planning she put into the party.
Davis' party did end up happening on Saturday. Even though it was snowy and icy I think people saw it as a good excuse to get out of the house. We are surrounded by such great friends and families.
I am working on a video and some pics from the birthday bash. (hopefully the next couple of days)

This was Davis' second trip and he had the shrimp. Supposedly you can start having shellfish once you are two, but I am pretty sure Davis had already tasted shrimp, but he definitely enjoyed the dinner. Throughout the whole meal he kept asking for the cake. It was a great evening of celebrating.
