one more good one

A new born 3 month old!

So it's been a crazy couple of nights. We have attempted to give Davis a bottle before he goes down for the night. This last week he was sleeping about 7 hours- well when I introduced the bottle he sleeps on average 3!!! (Note: he takes a bottle great during the day- but at night, apparently he still thinks it is day)
So I say we take it back to the natural approach. In Katie's defense, she wanted me to try to the bottle early, because next weekend she will be gone and I have to give him a bottle. But even with little sleep he is still a cuttie.

A Day with the Browns

Meg and Baby Thomas Brown came over this afternoon for a little play date!! Thomas is 6 weeks older than Davis but as you can see they are pretty much the same size and Davis definitely wins on the chubby cheeks!! Because she is 6 weeks ahead of us, I love to call and ask questions and know what to look forward to with Davis!!

Lady Vols

Probably shouldn't even post these b/c they are so dark (only so much the phone camera can do in a dark room) But this is how excited Davis was about the lady vols. Muma was glad she got him to sleep- i wanted to wake him up and cheer, but he was pretty out.

Bath time and more

Here are some pics of Davis and bath time. He really enjoys his baths, he doesn't cry and most of the times it will even calm him if he is crying. He had a good weekend- went to Pigeon Forge with Muma and Poppa and Kristin and had his first experience at AppleBarn- Katie promised him he would eat there plenty more.

play date

Today angela acker came over with her boys, cade and hayes. Will is doing the disciplenow for central bearden and she had some free time to hang out with katie and davis. don't be confused- davis is a month and a half younger than hayes! i'm not sure if you would call this a play date or a laying around date. enjoy.

davis' 1st easter

well davis made it through his first easter! it was a fun day with lots of family.
it's neat to have a "new life" on easter sunday (both Davis and us- those of us in Christ). I couldn't help but pray a lot for davis on easter- but i'm reminded how out of control we really are! I can't control his attitude, his health, his salvation, his life! We are so dependent on Christ.
